My Opportunity in Pictures/Video – Spring 2018 Update – Hobby Farm Life in Wisconsin

It’s been a long winter with the last snowfall ending in late April. But that’s hobby farm life in Wisconsin. Things are now greening up and I am looking forward to a great summer on the hobby farm. Below are two short videos and one picture.

The first video is of my cousin practicing with his new toy – a drone. The video was taken after the last snowfall. As you can see the hobby farm is located in a valley. I live in an area of Wisconsin called the driftless region. An area the glaciers never touched, so we are blessed with rolling hills and bluffs.

The second is a classic sign of Spring in Wisconsin – twin fawns. Deer fawn are often born close to the hobby farm. Their mother knows it’s less likely to attract coyotes.

The final picture is of the valley after a recent rainfall.
